i've seen this kind of problem one other time and it turned out to be the injectors. might also be ecu not letting them open. so, you'd have fuel pressure but the engine isn't getting the fuel.
ya it is getting fuel i can watch the fuel spray, with the plugs out with a flash light. cams stright up what do you mean by that? sorry, new to this kinda theing. do you mean the marks on the inside of the cam gear, make sure those are lined up. i think i might need a new harness.

yes the cam marks level with head. the woodruff key pointing at the arrow behind the crank and possibly try spraying starting fluid into tb. when i did my z6 it did'nt want to start because we had flooded it. sprayed some wd-40 into tb and it fired right up.

Get a B16 dizzy.
Happened to me when I went from odb0 to odb1 for Hondata.
Tryed a D16 dizzy had to cut it to f##k to make it sort of work, now I'm a b16a2 dizzy. Works fine.

you didn't put it in with the shaft backwards did you? Put crank pully to TDC check timing gears are "UP" ( the UP marks actually being up) and pull cap to make sure its pointed to #1 and not the other direction.
Check your grounds, about 200$ after i had this problem i found out that was all it was. Pay special attention to the transmission ground.
where exactly is the best place to put this ground on the transmission. should having it on the arm which holds the clutch cable? (not the arm that moves, just the one that keeps it in place) or is there a better place for this ground?
find a convienient bolt on the case. The release arm may be the WORST place to put it. I would alco ground the block to chassis olong with valve cover to chassis also.
you know, i never thought of it, but that could be the reason why im not getting spark on my own car. ive had that ground on that arm this whole time and can't figure out why im not getting spark. hell, i thought that was the best place for it. if it does indeed fix my spark problem, i might just go ahead and get a pistol and shoot my ownself in the foot.
JUST FYI...When I did my first swap, I didn't put the spark plug wires in the right places, I didn't start. I noticed this after two weeks, you can figure out that I was...happy. You might check that, who knows.
Im not sure what all takes place with that dizzy swap, but I have a friend that had a similar problem with a different dizzy. Check to make sure the wires are pinned right. That being the wires that connect through the plugs.
Grounds are also a good thing. My car wouldnt start once and all we had to do was add a ground to the throttle body. Had another friend add a ground to his dizzy to get it to start.
