question about my gsr swap

Default question about my gsr swap

hey guys wuz up! i'm new to honda-tech, but i love this place, i just swaped a 98 usdm gsr motor to my 93 dx hb, the car runs good, but not what i was hoping to be
i still have the stock dx exhaust, and thats where my question comes from,
is it gonna make a difference when i replace all the exhaust system?? or my swap just sucks!!!! thanx

^^^ read the above post. If you still arnt feeling 170 hp in a HB then your motor is either fucked up or you have driven way to many fast cars x-). H/E will make some difference but nothing drastic

Definitely get a better exhaust.You have a 170hp motor trying to breathe through piping designed for a 70hp output.Heres a dyno proving this.

This is a chart that shows the run in BLUE being the stock Honda Civic Exhaust system, and then another run showing the RED line using the Apex N1 aftermarket exhaust system of 2.5 inches.

also try changing a fuel pump after exhaust and see what happens.

hell yea! change the i/h/e and you will feel a great increase from the dx stuff.

a ford mustang fuel pump is a great investment too. (shhh. secret)

thanx alot for the help got the problem fix, str8 exhaust and a new computer, with a 2 and a quarter pipe. about the mustang fuel pump hows that **** work never knew anything about that????
