Almost every time I ride, weather it's with friends or alone. There is always someone who pops his head out of a car window or signals you from the side of a street, to "wheelie"...
It's funny because, it's always when there is a car about 10feet in front of you or even a speed bump... lol

 

Well I have to admit I love the speed bump jump, but not on someone elses schedule... and more importantly, not when some shmuck(or worse yet, some supposed friend) tells you to.

Some guy asked me the other day... Can you do a wheelie for me, please?

I noded my head No. and he looked so dissapointed... I felt so bad, but I still cant wheelie.

 

i've gotten that 2 times before. They use the body language to tell you...its hilarious. Never did the wheelie for them either time. Not worth getting caught on the streets especially with traffic everywhere. Dont want to risk the chance of getting my license taken away or going to jail.

 

I do it for the kids. Kids always tell me to lift up the front wheel, and I never want to feel like I let them down, so I do it. It's great to see the smiles on their faces like you just made their day. I would say it's kinda like a stunter's "pro-bono"

I'm the same way. The kids love to see a bike, but love to see a wheelie so much more. If there's space, I'll do one for them.

Yea i know i am not the best wheelie person in the world but i can still pop it up and when the kids ask me to do it then they smile when i do it and it makes me feel like i am the best in the world.

Couldn't have put it better . . . I do it for just about anybody who asks, especially this one time when these two chicks were in a Jeep wrangler and asked me to do one, and mid wheelie they flashed me . . . once I recovered from almost hitting my 12 bar at like 60, I was blown away . . .

I do a wheelie for every kid that asks me to because I remember when I was younger every bike I say I told them to do a wheelie and I was so happy when they did!!!!

 

Yeah, I have one of those shirts in my closet but it kinda sucks because I'm not gonna do a wheelie in a t-shirt. They need to sell jackets with that embroidered on the back.
