Sorry I wouldnt know the wiring off hand, but the first thing I would check is to make sure the wires are in the correct firing order on the distributor.

ionno.............but i checked all ther COLOR on the wires. all MATCHED up except yellow/blue on OBD1 plug and there was ALSO 2 cream colors on the OBD0 distributor? i mix and match those wires and still the SAME results. My brother which knows pretty much about hondas cannot figure it out either. We know its the DISTRIBUTOR but we cant figure out wat color wires go to which.

And also ill answer alot of other peoples questions by saying this..... i am not gonna buy me a new distributor!!! 300 bucks is money i dont have on a distributor, all though yes i do want to buy a new one just cant afford it now, and no junk yards have it for cheap either. the junk is running $200 for a LS distributor so pls help a BROKE BROTHA OUT.

so after it cranks it wont stay running? it just kicks over but wont idle? check the ECT sensor if the ecu is reading hot from the sensor it will make the fuel mixture wrong and it wont run right. i had the same prob with an h22 accord. turns out i had two of the plugs switched and it was supplying constant voltage to the ECT sensor. good luck

you can't use an obd0 distributor on an obd1 car even if you rewire. I tried it before, it didn't work so I just found an obd1 distributor. You can use an obd2 distributor too.

check easy stuff first though make sure your plug wires are in the right order. use either online pic or friends car if you aren't sure.

These guys say you can't do it
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=594364

This is a thread about obd1 dizzy in an obd0 car, it seemed to have worked for some people, but others said it won't work.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=651998

Good luck.
I'd suggest just looking for an obd1 dizzy or obd2 and rewiring it.

yeah but if you look at the creator of the second thread he was converting to obd1. so thats why it works. you cant use an obd0 distributor in an obd1 car. im absolutely positive on that one
