Anyone have GCR handy? Number & class sticker size.
I'd like to order a replacment set of numbers and class stickers for my ITA crx over lunch today, but I left my GCR at home. Does anyone have their GCR handy with the rules for the minimum height for the front/sides/rear?
Found on SCCAforums.com:
3.7 Vehicle Identification
All cars must have car numbers and class letters on both sides. Car numbers will be a minimum of 8 inches high and a minimum of 1-1/4 inch stroke. Class letters must be between 25% and 50% of the number size, no smaller than 3 inches high, and located adjacent to the numbers. All numbers and letters must be of the same single color and typeface, and in contrast to the background color. Contrast may also be obtained using a second color for a border or field, sized at least 25% of the number stroke. All letters and numbers must be on body panels, not on windows, and only one set of numbers may be visible while the car is running. For cars entered in a Ladies Class the letter "L" shall follow the class letters (Example: ASL).

my 04 GCR says differently
numbers:
8'' high, 1.5'' stroke
letters:
4'' high, 1/2'' stroke
numbers required for both sides and front, class letters required for both sides. numbers and letters recommended for rear.
is it bad that i keep my GCR at my work desk?

Note that if you are going to "go both ways" and run with NASA, 8" will technically be too small. They require 10" I believe...

I thought about that, but 10" decals look ridiculously large on a crx. I'm not normally vain about the car, but I'll be painting it soon, so I'll want it to look nice and pretty.

I should clarify..I live in KC, so the chances of me competing in a NASA race are unfortunately slim to none. If there was a measurable chance I could find a NASA race nearby, I'd go with the 10".
