1992 civic cx calipers vs teg calipers need help quick
Okay I just got new dss stage 4 axles and hubs. I go to put on my rotor last night and it will not fit over the hub. I have another rotor that is bigger and fits over my new hubs but my caliper will not bolt onto the spindle.
My question is this. Are the integra calipers bigger then the 92 civic cx calipers? If so can I get integra calipers and bolt them onto my civic spindle or do I need new spindles also?
With the bigger rotor on my caliper it will not bolt up to the spindle by about 1/2 and inch maybe a little more. I was thinking if the teg calipers have a longer plate on the back where it bolts to the spindle I could go get those from a junk yard and bolt them on and be good to do. But knowing my luck this week it will not be that easy.
I am trying to get my car done for the race tommorow. So any quick help is appreciated.
Thanks

contact the company you got the axles/hub from. Sounds like they did'nt ask what car this was going on.

They are for the correct car 92 civic. I picked them up in person from Frank at DSS. They don't clear by prob a 1/16 of an inch. I called and spoke to frank and he said he never had a problem before. I am not sure if it is b/c I am running and aftermarket rotor.
So back to the orginal question's thanks.

I cut the inside of my rotors to get them to fit over the dss hubs. But my question still stands.
Will an integra caliper bolt right up to my 92 cx spindle? Or do I need to get integra spindles also?

nope you need integra spindles, I think EG EX with ABS has the same spindels but I'm not totaly sure, maybe the same with EK with 10.2" rotors but I'm not totaly sure about that neither.

I think the bigger rotors you have are EX ABS rotors but you are still trying to use Civic CX calipers??? I just got done puting Integra LS ABS brakes on my Civic VX and I just purchased the whole spindle assemblies with the hub and calipers and rotors still bolted to the spindle. Get the integra spindles.

Thanks for your replies. I will wait till this winter to upgrade the spindles and rotors since I just had the new hubs pressed into my civic spindles. I think my friend will kill me if I am like guess what need you to press out my new hubs and bearings and press them into the integra spindles.
lol yeah my wheel bearing was going out on my passenger side and instead of pressing out the bearing/hub i said to myself this is a good excuse to swap out spindles off of an integra allowing me to upgrade my brakes at the same time. My brakes rule now. 1" integra master cylinder and brake booster and integra rotors.
Slowly gettin it setup for roadracing.

Not sure if any of you guys know but will the intergra brakes and bigger rotors clear a bogart 13 inch rim? I would hate to upgrade all of this then go to run my slicks and it not clear.

13's no. 14's maybe I'm kinda pissed because i want some slicks and now i have to run a bigger, heavier rim cuz my teg brakes.
