hey, just did a b16a swap into my 89 civic and got it all done in two days. i just got a big problem the engine well start but well not rev over 1500 rpm it starts to gap as if it were thirsty for fuel but its not cause i checked ? does the vaccume line have to do with it or is it the wiring for the ecu. some plz help gotta try the vtec out.
also i heard that the speed senser needs to be pluged in to run the vtec
and one last thing what wires do you have to cut from the ecu to run the engine

 

sounds like you might have the map and tps plugs swapped up
