Default Are there any negative side effects to higher air/fuel ratio from I/H/E?

I am planning to get the basic I/H/E bolt-ons from Comptech soon. All of the dyno graphs from their website look very impressive. The air/fuel ratio will increase with these bolt-ons. I am very hesitant to tune the air/fuel ratio or get a fuel pressure riser because I don't want to worsen the fuel economy or increase emissions. Are there any negative side effects of a higher air/fuel ratio besides the fact that you can get more power from a lower ratio?

I have a Civic EX w/ a D16Y8 (Please don't mess up this thread by telling me to screw I/H/E & go turbo or to get a swap.)

I dont see why the a/f ratio would raise off of bolt ons. Im sure youll be fine.

More air, same amount of fuel = higher a/f ratio.

Anybody have the answer to this question? I know I'll be fine, but I'm going for long term reliability, fuel economy, and low emissions.

A good AF ratio for NA is 13.2-13.8. With out any tuning and a few bolt-ons my D16 is running mid 12 AFR. I dont think it's gonna go too lean on you.
