the pyrotect helmets are rated SA00 and IMO are the best buy on the market.

Nice helmet, but watch out on that harness. Don't think you can easily put it in. Properly mount it, with a cage if you do that. Or else...

I have the same helmet, Its really good. On my first SCCA race some one put my helmet on the floor with the face side on the floor, the whole left side was scratch up. Be really careful I spent $50 for a new visor. Now I keep it in the white cloth bag that it came in. Good luck with it.

im purchaseing my roll bar today, and my seat back brace early next week. (the car is up on jack stands right now, and i WILL not wear the harness for daily driving its stricly for the tracks.

does anyone know were i could get some good solid mounting hard ware for the harness if you notice it is not the typical kind with the "latch" on the side mounts. I/O port racing has hardware for the latch type but not this. any one know a site??

also on the shoulder straps, should i just take off the end peace and do the proper mounting on the "harness bar".

if you not cleary on the type of mounting hardware i need its on the bottom left hand corner of this "isntallation helpfull hints" page, http://crowenterprizes.com/installationtips.html
thanks for the help

see i don't see anything for the type of lap restraniant i have

look at this link http://crowenterprizes.com/installationtips.html
in the bottom left hand corner it show the type of hardware i need. i don't have the snap hook on the belt, i have a 3" bolt end on the end of my strap. if you look real close in the picture i took you can see, and if you look at the link to the installation tips you will see what i need

Are you looking for the 'clevis' mount? Try some of the stockcar places. They typically have fab. stuff. In the Bay Area, you can try Marina @ http://www.pitstopusa.com. Some of the custom shops will probably have it as well.

You could also mail order from Coleman racing. Do a search & their site will come up.
