92 civic DX ecu same as a LS ecu..
my chipped out ls ecu got fried out, now im back to using the stock sohc dx ecu, now my boy was telling me that the DX ecu and LS are the exact same program, but to honest with you, i feel ive lost a decent amount of power running the DX ecu..... anyone has any truth to this??? thanks alot guys
uhh... your using a SOHC virgin ecu on a DOHC motor? Or were you using a chiped for SOHC LS ecu for a SOHC motor?
either way if its a SOHC virgin ecu i dont think you coul duse it with a DOHC motor. Also your LS was chipped so that might have something to do with it.

ive driven with a chipped ls ecu, and a stock ls ecu.... and now im using a VIRGIN (lol) sohc for a dx.... but my boy still agruein tellin me the program the same, and its all in my head that its slower... but honestly how could it be the same program, i doubt a dx motor needs as much fuel n **** as a duel.... ne one else?
well p28 is a d16z6, since he says it's a chipped it could possibly be chipped for b16 but I wouldn't trust it anyways.
Also if you are not getting enough fuel, aka running lean your motor will suffer alot of beating.
And chipping the ECU isn't that easy
