do ya'll consider a painted dash board is rice ? because the car i bought already has a blue painted dash in it

Should probably post this in the cosmetic section or something.

Personally I think it can be either.

If you paint it all a stock color or something that is close then no rice effect.

If you paint it white or some freakish color like BRIGHT NEON ORANGE and have your vents some other contrasting color then you KNOW it's rice and you shouldn't be even asking!

Basically, if it hurts your eyes it's rice.
Also, if it stands out and doesn't look anything near stock it's rice.

Maybe I'm too unforgiving... A-pillar gauge pods are even rice in my book.

 

the outside of the car is all stock looks sorta of an sleeper and the only thing that looks rice is the dash board so i'm here to get another crx dash.any 1 ?

LOL I'm with you! I'm not very forgiving either.

 

how much do these people sell dash for ? including with consoles and everything esle that mounts with the dash

 

Junk yard man...try it out. Thats the best i can say, good luck.i guess i'm gonna "rice" out the interior of my CRX...but just alittle bit

 

Man, why would you want to buy a new dash? Just go buy some vinyl primer spray, and some black vinyl spray paint, and just redo everything. The new black will make your interior look mint. I was going to do this, but can't find the time

 

well good idea but i would still have to buy a another console anyway

 

I dropped a whole new dash into the rex after getting it painted and once it cleans up.... I LOVE iT. Would you consider it rice if its professionally done by the painter and matches the color of the car?

 

that what my dash board is right now it matchs the color blue of the car it looks sorta cool but rice tho

 

Is it all done or just pieces.

 

Whip in a crx dash. Civic dash sucks anyway.

only the whole dash is done other than that it all stock interior just the dash matches the color of the car

Do you like it ? If so keep it, who cares what other people like or dislike. Just don't go over board jk
