Fluidyne vs. PWR
Bump! I want people's experiences. I did a search but weren't able to find any comparisons. I need one for the swap and couldn't decide which one since every company is preaching that thier's is the best. Koyo, Fluidine, PWR or C&R. Are they all the same? Thanks!
i have a fluidyne in my eg, a friends S15 swapped 240, and no problems, only with FAL for a fan problem that almost cost me an engine. but i have been pitting PWR's in many scooby's. they seem to work fine.

I've used Fluidyne and C&R. I would take the C&R any day of the week over the Fluidyne. Better customer service (Rob took care of anything I needed) and I have had absolutely no problems. I had a leak issue with 2 different fluidyne's

I've had a Fluidyn half core in my Civic for over two years with no problem. I'll soon find out how good the radiator is when I boost the B18C.

JDMH22HATCH, since you had both Fluidyne and C&R, I wanted to know if there wasa difference with respect to size? I mean, was one thicker than the other? etc. Or were they pretty much the same?

I have had a Fluidyne Integra radiator in my Civic for over 3 years now and I have been boosted for over 2 years. The Fluidyne works great and have never had a problem with it...well actually I do have a little problem with it, it cools the radiator fluid too well!! My water temp never seems to get over 190 to 195 even when I am driving the **** out of it...works extremely well with Mugen fan switch and Mugen thermo like I have.
Fluidyne
Fluidyne
fluidyne has a much better fin design than PWR
pwr fins are no where near as dense as the fluidyne
also pwr uses cheap plastic drain plug with a crappy rubber gasket to seal it...had problems with it sealing nicely
