Default tech43 1.6-1.8 kit

Since nobody seemed to want to answer in the other thread, I'll just make a new one. Someone posted about some tech43 kit that takes a b16 to 1.8 liters. Anyone have any info on this kit? What all is needed, cost of all parts, specs from before and after?

READ the forum Rules and Guidelines.

Please try searching numerous key words under "recent" and "archived" topics in this forum and in the Hybrid Forum, or any other forum that applies to your topic at hand.

This forum is being ruined by too many of the same tired "B16A vs. B18C1?" topics and "Should I boost my SOHC or Get a Swap?" type topics. We understand that you want guidance, but rather than post an open topic, why not o some searching and find members here that have had successful builds/swaps and carry on an IM conversation with him or her?

We do care about what you want to do, but when we have literally 10 open topics about the exact same thing it gets highly annoying. This MB is here for ALL of us, not just one person who thinks we should all cater to him or her by posting in his or her topic while he or she NEVER performs searches and doesn't even browse the topics in the first few pages of the forum.</TD></TR></TABLE>
somebody already searched for you above ^. next time, do it yourself.

I DID read the rules, I DID search. It turned up nothing. I searched for tech43 on google after the forums searches returned nothing, and I still found nothing. Perhaps you shouldn' just assume someone didn't try themselves next time ;-)

and that website is "under construction" which still doesn't provide any of the answers I was looking for.

and searching through his past posts doesn't return any information on this kit either. I assumed since someone besides tech43 knew about the kit that information had been posted in the past and perhaps someone who knew about it could answer the questions I had...

you could swap your b16 to a gsr for ~$600 if you install it yourself. that's what i would suggest. then overbore that 1.8 to 2.0................
