What is the average gas mileage for your Civic?
I get around 33.3 mrg in my 97 civic lx
all stock (i know it's sad).
of course i live in arkansas and the hills and
city traffic don't mix well.
it really depends on your driving technique.
honda.com says
"City/Highway (5-Speed Manual): 32/38
Fuel (gal.): 11.9"

I just calculated mine yesterday, I got 37.4 mpg in my hatch w/ b-series. That is unusual, it usually gets about 30-32mpg with easy driving and not too many excursions into vtec.
I get 30-32mpg in my stock 94 dx 5speed, and that's with 5k+ rpms VERY often. On long trips (to Nags Head) the car has gotten 440+ miles on a full tank.
