Default Monroe struts for 92 civic

Well I bought this car about 2 months ago, and it came with a whole box of stuff, bearings, brake pads, downpipe, and a bunch of other stuff including struts. I just tried to put the brake pads on back and realized they weren't the right pads so I'm guessing some of this stuff that came with my car isn't for my car. I need new struts but I don't know if they are right for my car. They're Monroe and the only number I can find on the box is 71266. I'd really rather not tear the old struts off then find out these aren't the right struts, so is there anyway I can tell if there the right struts for my car?
