Default Sedan/CRX suspension intechangeable? Need answer ASAP!

My friend just got a CRX with Tien (sp?) coilovers. He said I could have them if I do all the work to pull them out/switch them with my stock stuff.

He doesn't care because he has to get rid of the car anyway.

Can I just swap out my stock sedan stuff for his CRX stuff? I mean I know it will physically bolt up, but is anything REALLY different?

Please help ASAP...I'd really love to have these coilovers!

I'm assuming he has an 88-91 Civic Sedan? I am pretty positive that it will indeed fit.

if he has an 88, and you have a 89-91, then they wont fit on the rears. the LCA's are different. but if you have an 89-91, or both 88's, and he does too, they will fit

Just swap the LCA's too

Sorry. I didn't really phrase everything right.

He has a '91 CRX SI with Tien Coilovers.

I've got a '91 Civic Sedan (DX) with stock everything.

He said we could just trade setups.

Will it all work?

Yes.

if your rear LCA (Sedan) does not have a spot for the sway bar swap the LCA's too.

I do not have a rear swaybar.

Is it necessary to swap the LCA's, or are you just suggesting it as an upgrade?

Reason I ask is because I've read that the SI rear sway bar will not work on the sedan, even if you swap the LCAs.

I don't care about the sway bar anyway, though.

TIA. Today is my only chance to jump on this opportunity!

Well if you don't care about the sway bar, do it bro!
