FS: Black 2K1 ITR Certified to 100k @ Continental Acura on Ogden Avenue, Lisle, IL
Edit: I'm an idiot, this car is a 2000, not a 2001 like the subject line says...
Ok, here's the skinny:
A while ago I went in to Continental Acura and had them take my name for an ITR. Well, this morning someone traded in their ITR for a RSX Type S.
Them:
Me:
Unfortunately I'm not in any kind of financial situation with the stockmarket how it is to purchase a car in this point in time. I'm going up there on Thursday to take a look at it regardless, because I've never been in an ITR before.
It apparently has tinted windows, and according to the guy, it will be acura certified to 100,000 miles.
Any Chicago goons that drop by there, deal with Wesely (German guy, has a really long last name.) He gave me a ride in their NSX, REAL nice guy, tell him I, (Eli) sent you.
He says right now they're going to be looking for around $21,000 for this 2000 black beauty... DAMN I wish the stock market wouldn't have taken a ****, I'd be in ITR mother-******' land.
I love you, D.

He didn't know, but he said it has to be low mileage for them to certify it. I'm not sure what low mileage would be on a 2000... like 15-20k probably.
Continental is really good at that kinda stuff.
They had my name on the list last year and I almost got a certified CW but finances didn't allow. Luckily I ended up with a brand new ITR early this year after getting a decent job. I'm sure they'll get another ITR whenever you're ready.
Seems like they usually go through a few each year.

Damn Continental Acura has another ITR. They had 2 CW ones last year. I hope you get your ITR. Trust me, you'll love it. I know I love mine.
You have no idea how bad I want this car. NO IDEA. ****. ****. I have lost so much money in the stock market in the past 3 months, I'm almost debating selling my Jeep and just keeping my CRX. I have no room for another car in my wallet right now.
****. Oh well, if they get more, they get more I suppose. <sour grapes>Tinted windows are stupid anyway</sour grapes>

I'm going up there today to take a look at it... Is anyone interested in this car? Want me to take pictures at all?

Yeah, see if you can jack the emblems for me, cause someone jacked mine last night.. hehe.. jp.. Yeah, take some pics, I want to see the condition of it, and let us know how many miles are on it.
Ok here's the scoop... When I went today the ITR was out for detailing and cleaning... (I guess the guy really DID call me the SECOND they got one in.. lol) It has around 40,000 miles on it, but will be warrantied to 100,000.
That's not bad considering it's almost 2 years old. Believe me guys, If I were in a better financial situation right now, you wouldn't see me posting about a ITR for sale, I'd be posting about the newest member of the ITR owners club
Cheer up man, the ITR ain't all that anyways.... ok I'm lying. I love my ITR, it's awesome, i wished everybody in the world could own one. I hope things get better for you, and you'll be able to afford one soon. If you can't get a newer one, then get a 97-98 CW one. Say... who's up for a Chicago Type R meet?
