I have a 89 dx with a d15b2 Im getting ready to do the mpfi swap and was also going to do the d16z6 head swap. I was wandering I heard alot of storys of how the vtec heads on non vtec bottom ends actually leak alot of oil is this true does it leak at all? Thanks oil is after all the life of the motor and with out it It will die.

 

I've heard of this problem with the B-series LS/VTEC, but not the D-series mini-me.

So far so good on the one I just completed. (it only has about 30 miles on it so far though)

 

so It should slap on with no leaks or anything thanks alot.

 

Does anyone else have any input?

 

I personally have not done this swap but have helped about 6 friends with the swap. None of them have EVER leaked due to the swap! I'd definetly recommend the swap. Also I have a d16y8 head for sale right now. It comes with all the sensors, but doesn't come with the distributor. PM if your interested.
