Code 15... CANT FIGURE IT OUT
Hey I can't get past this code 15, I've changed 2 distributors, 2 ecu's, and gave the Dizzy direct power and still no spark.. This is a 91 crx Si, and I can't figure out what the hell is the ignition output itself, If someone has a pinout for what each wire is on the distributor, or how to get passed the ignition output signal... that would be awesome, were trying to get this car running, we havent seen it run yet. Thanks -Ben

did you check your engine ground?
also is your ecu and dizzy both OBD0 or OBD1?
both need to be the same depending on what system you have.

ignition output is two large white wires next to each other on the B plug at the ECU. I believe B15 and B17 if you count in the zig zag, B8 and B9 if you count across.
check continuity from BOTH of them, to the white wire at the distributor plug. I forget exactly which one it is, but you have to make sure that it is PURE white and does not have any yellow or anything else on it. it will be thick.
if you do not have continuity, check every foot or so of the wire, as far as you can, and find the fault. if you want to, you can just hook the two wires together at the ecu, run a wire into the engine compartment, and connect it to the white wire, HARNESS SIDE, of the distributor plug.
FOR YOUR SAKE, use solder, and make sure your connections are excellent.
I hope this solves your problem.
