Help!!!!! with my JDM headers 4-1 and US OEM cat
I have a 01 Integra Type R with JDM 4-1 Headers.
The cat the was originally installed was before my time because I bought the car used. Anyways, now the cat started making a rattle inside and needs to be replace. I took it to the dealer because it's cover by the warranty but when they try to install it, it didn't fit because the headers are to big to connect with the cat. I called Inlinefour.com to see if they sell something to fix this problem of the fitment. The guy at Inlinefour.com said that all I need is the 2.5 Collector Gasket and 2.5 flange that they sell and that would do the trick.
Any advice is welcome guys. Thanks to all of you in advance.

There's also a difference in length (as far as I recall) between the USDM and JDM sized cats.
Did you buy it from the dealership with the JDM pieces?

well, when I bought the car, it came with the JDM 4-1 Headers and AEM intake and aftermarket exhaust but I think the the exhaust pipe that connects from the cat to the exhaust is custom made because the tech that was working with my car said that the fittings were to big but that the cat fit in perfectly as far as the space between the headers and the exhaust pipe. If in case I need an aftermarket cat, which one do you guys recommend.
