alright guys, i have tried and tried many times now and still can not get rid of my cel. It is an O2 sensor cel and it comes on as soon as I turn the car on. tell me how you guys did it in your cx's. I just cant figure it out. Thanks

You use a shielded wire for the white wire of the o2? You try replacing the sensor with a known working one?

 

well I bought a new one but it is like a $60 auto zone O2 sensor. Now for the shielded wire, where do you run it from and where should you connect the shielded part of the wire.

 

use the factory wire. the sheilded part covers the actually wire. Peel the shielded part away (it will be a metal mesh) and ground it (the end farest away for the o2).

 

do I have to use shielded wire for the wire from the O2 sensor to the original CX o2 plug. and what size wire should I use (what gauge). I hope you guys can help me get this fixed!
