Hello everyone....well my faithful 88 Accord EXi...Coupe is in need of some TLC. It feels /sound like it's transmission related.

If I press the accelartor pedal after coasting while driving there is like a slipping/grabbing sound. I have to lift of the gas pedal till the RPM's drop or shift to low. This only happens while coasting. Starting off the trasmissions shifts through all the gears and bands no problem.

Does this sound like a major tranny problem?

I don't want to part with this car...I think it's a great model and I enjoy driving it...it still handles like a champ.
