Sorry if this has been answered 100,000 times, I searched but did not find my answers.

I have a 1988 Civic DX Hatchback with a stock motor, and I have a few questions:

Can i mate a JDM VTECH D15 head to my non VTECH d15 block?

Is it possible to reach 130-135whp with a non -VTECH d15?

I am honestly not interested in comparing the performance potential of a swap -vs- the price of the build up on the dx motor, just if its feasable. Any advice on that option? I see people quote 130+whp but I don't know how to make that kind of power.
