Default motorcycles and cops pulling you over

when you have a 600+cc bike, and a cop is trying to pull you over on a freeway or parkway, why dont most of you just punch it and leave the cops behind?

i know its different for a car because on a car, you can see the plates, even if it a 10 second capable street car. i know a guy who has a turbo vr6 gti, and cops tried to pull him over....and he lost the cops on a parkway at around 150mph with a car. why dont any of you who get so many tickets, just run from them?

as immature and stupid as this sounds, very few cars can catch a bike, and we know cop cars arent that fast.....even though the motorola is, im pretty sure a bike can lose cops chasing it....

Its one of the dumbest things you could ever do. all he has to do is see what kind of bike/jacket/helmet you have and he will be looking for you for the next 10 years. I would rather pull over than be scared to drive through that certain area again.

it is one of the dumbest things to run from a cop, but here in TN if u can get away and they dont see u for another 24 then when they see you again they cant resume the chase,t ehy have to have new grounds to atempt to pull you over on. they can follow you though or find anything to pull you over for, and they will be ******** about it.

What a stupid post.. So many bad situations can happen when running from a cop on a bike. It's not worth it at all. Some cops will even cut you a break for not running. Think about it..take a chance at death or stop and take it like a man.

Why not carry a gun in your car and just shoot the cop when he comes up to your window and destroy the camera in his squad car? This thread is useless.

yup, those ghetto birds or radios will catch you one day. I've never run before but if i was speeding 100+mph i cant say i would pull over...not that i usually go that fast. Of course i'd have to be a decent distance from home and know the area or some backroads.

Either way, its not a very smart thing to do. Your risking your life bigtime and if you do get caught, get ready for some heavy *** fines and riding the bus/bumming rides.

Because of Darwin's ever watchful eye you half wit.

That kind of thing kills folks, so no, I would never do it. It's not a matter of whether I could/could not get away with it, it's a matter of not wanting to get hosed off the pavement.

I rather loose my license, go to jail for a day, and get major fines, than die attempting to get away from the cops...

Let's see, why don't I run from the cops while on a bike.

1) No matter what you think, or how fast you are, you cannot outrun the radio.
2) Is riding like a retard and running from the cops at insane speed and possibly killing myself worth avoiding a ticket? **** no.

Worst thread ever.

I've heard of someone that ran and "got away" but when he got home the cops were waiting there. Needless to say, he got his *** kicked.

You'll find your bike is no match for a radio and a helicopter.

Try riding 10/10ths with a siren behind you
