Default LS/Vtec pistons

Ok, heres the deal, I have a B18a and i am going LS vtec with a 95 GSR head and B16a1 pistons.When i do the pistonsdo i follow the ring procedure for the b16 or the b18, or does it matter?
And also, what does bump mean?I see it all the time on this sight and have no idea what it means

B16 pistons will have the same install requirements as b18C pistons.

Bump: means to bring the post to the top again because there is a new post in that thread.

Get IB Spec Wisecos in the 12:1 C/R range for your motor and do extensive tuning

but i dont have a b18c, i have a b18a, are those the same procedure as well?

Also, i dont have money for any after market parts, this motor has a 0$ spending limit lol.

Then don't build it! You should just sell me the head

You need to replace some vital things when doing an ls/vtec: oil pump,water pump, head gasket,timing belt, bearings(should) etc.

Im going to doll that, what i meant by no spending money was for **** like pistons and headwork.Its going to be alstock except for b16 pistons that I already own and new rings, probably OEM.

Make sure if the pistons are used and pressed off they will need to be kissed with a hone to make sure the pin bore won't be tight.
