possibly bad CV joint/boot (though i forget the diagnostic sound that one makes )

to test for that, drive around in slow circles....if it gets worse, thats your problem

id also check to nake sure the brake pads are all on there tight, that the caliper is bolted solidly, etc...

i couldnt really understand what he was saying, but it sounds like he is saying the rubber cv boot is leaking grease?

if so then replace the boot quickly or youll need a new axle.

thats temp. it almost always comes apart.

tried it before.

u can get a speedy boot and try to fix it. if the clamps came off, u can ziptie it.

if the boots broken, u need a new one. getting a new boot is alot cheaper than getting a new axle.

Just replace the whole thing and save yourself the trouble down the road. Its only like $75 after the core and it only takes an hour tops to do yourself. If you've never replaced them anyway, you're due.

I have a civic and I am having the same nosie problem. I replaced brakes and rotors and even bent back the gaurd behind it. Still that damn nosie comes back. It comes after driving it awhile then slowing done to stop. Its quit embassing. Still cant figure it out. I hope its not the tranny, but maybe the axle.
