hi need advice everytime im changing gear only from 2nd to 3rd th car gear is like crunching( like making noise) i have an 6 puck clutch in my car and an exedy aluminium flywheel.
what is wrong with it is there lack of fluid of some sort or is it my gear box what could it b

I'm sorry you must be driving a honda . Somebody ocne told me "If 3rd gear doesn't grind it's not a honda transmission", replace 3rd gear and the problem will go away. Check other things like clutch engagement etc.

ok so it cant be my clutxh i was getting worried because i put it in like 2 mnths ago and spent qite a bit in doing so,

ok so if it is my 3rd gear would it be worth while getting a close ratio 3rd gear cog??

 

depends on what kind of racing your doing on the particluar ratio your going, i would just check to make sure the clutch is engaging all of the way

 

did it start grinding right after you did the clutch job? if so, i'd adjust your clutch cable, assuming you have one. also, gm syncromesh tranny fluid could help a lot.......lots of info on this stuff if you do a search
