To chip or not to chip?
I have a 1994 Accord EX. With Vtec of course... I have the basic mods so far Aem cold air intake, Dc sports header, high flow cat, full dc sports exhaust, aem adjustable cam gear, Aem puelleys. I was wondering if i got a JET ecu would it make a difference or is it not worth the money???
it would make your wallet a lot lighter!
send me the money and ill put a jet sticker on your ecu and you will feel teh same power gain as sending it to them.
on a more serious note if you ahve a 5spd, you can chip a p28 ecu and see better gains if it is custom for your car.

u dont have an F350 Superduty Turbo Diseal....no........chipping wont help, little 4cyls are about at their maximum power w/ rasing compression / turboing / spraying
Glad I read this... I was thinking about it too
This makes me want to ask though... Can anything be done through the stock ecu to get anything more out of the car? Fuel/air mixture? Timing changes?

With auto accords youre **** out of luck.
If you find someone that's an expert with hondata, there IS a way to get it to work on an auto accord, but I dont know how and it will take more $ than it's worth without major modifications.
I had to sell my hondata cause it didnt work on mine

I'd be curious to take a looksee at that bin Will...
Good guy though... smart too...
Listen to what he says... the Accord ECU is crap... no real support at this time... Switching to a chipped OBD1 civic or teg ECU with a custom tailored program is the only viable option at this point... many have had good results with it, including myself...
