my buddy is sellin his 89 dx crx to me for $400.00...the problem is that the car dies....battery drains out all the time....bought a junkyard alternator and still drains the battery....boght a new battery....battery still draing....do you guys think it has to do with the alternator connection or what can cause it....PLEASE let me know what u think as soon as possible cause i'm planning to pick it up this weekend....

an alternator from the junkyard is not neccesarily good. take it to autozone and have them check it. could be corroded battery cables. possibly a bad ground.
