Default accord 4cyl vs TSX

curious about the HP diiferances between the 04 TSX and the 04 Accord 4cyl

I see they have this in common: 16-valve, DOHC, 2.4-liter, i-VTEC 4-cylinder

And I see they have these differances:
TSX: peak HP @ 6800 rpm
Accord: peak HP @ 5500 rpm

TSX compression: 10.5:1
Accord compression: 9.7:1

But can you guys tell me what physically/specifically seperates the 2 engines? Is there some differant piece or part? Or is it just software?

thanks

Well compression would have to do with the power rating as well along with redline. I would have to say the tsx is tuned a little better and looks to use different internals (notices the higher compression).

As far as asthetics go, I like the TSX. It just looks sleeker. Which is not to say bad things about the Accord. I love Accords, which is why I currently own two, but the TSX is really an Accord anyway. Plus they (the TSX) just handle like a smaller car. Drive each and then see what you think

Internals, cylinder head, ECU, DBW throttle body. Those are the big ones.

What does "internals" mean exactly?
