Default nut at the end of the axle.

For my G3 I need those nuts that are at the end of the axles. The ones taht have the locking tab to keep them in place with the hub. Anyone know where to get them, would autozone have them or would I have to buy it direct from honda. Thanks

EDIT: Hmm, you posted like over 15 minutes before me....but I didn't see a post there. Weird.

You could probably get it from Autozone or Pep Boys, but I'd just get it from Honda. It won't be THAT much money.

It's called an "Axle nut."

yea i went to autozone. They have it listed as a spindle nut. I remember how our axle or spindle nut, whatever you want to call it, has the indentation in it. This one does not look like I will be able to bend it in for that indentation, and does not have one. Looks solid. Is this alright. Im going to go to HOnda tomorrow ask for one from a 99 Si, if not there, Acura, and if they dont have it, ill get the one from autozone

You can take metal-cutting pliers and cut a straight line like your original hub nut had and then bend the two halves one to each side.

yeah...thats right too....i forgot about that.....the ones at my store also were thick and solid so i think they were too thick at the top to hit to notch up....if they're out of just the nut, you can get the outter cv boot kit for $20 if you need it really bad!
