Default suspension question?

I am probably buying a 1993 rs teg and it needs 2 new cv joints.
I was wondering how much would it cost me and how much labor am I looking to pay.
I asked a couple of shops and I was quoted at 250/joint, I immediatley walked out and never returned

thank h-t

mad love 4 ya'll

woohoo, M4d l0v3 4 m3!!

labor and parts should only run you around $300-400, just get a new shaft, no rebuilt ones, new aftermarket shafts should be about $90-100 each. trust me, it's a lot easier to buy a new shaft than to take it apart and repair the joints, that's probably why they want so much

Id say 250 per is a little high. Id guess closer to 175-200 per.

cv joints are about 120 dollars, with a 60 dollar core return, so about 60 dollars per axle.
120 bucks for parts

id say 50 per axle, 100 per labor

220 total, 10 tip. 230 bucks.
