You know what. Funny thing. I happened to have the same experience about a year ago. But I was taking a corner pretty fast when I heard it, and when I put the car up on the lift I had busted off a rear swaybar endlink.

...just thought I'd share.

I heard that once or twice a long time ago.

I stopped the car on the road and walked around it a few times and looked carefully. Couldn't see anything wrong. Sounded exactly like you described.

ya, you might have run something over, or got hit by something. that happend to me a couple of months ago and when i searched my car i saw a little bit of liquid on the side panel so i smelled it, it was citrus. some kid threw an orange. but i would check the sway bar just to be safe.

I wonder if theres a weld/seem that poped apart, and may be a common (high stress area)? Ya know with them using a different technique for welding the chassis in the Type R it really makes me wonder.

yeah i had the same sound comin from my car a few months ago. the only difference was that there was this loud as screetching sound which sounded like metal on metal before the initial boom sound. i just had my car checked out the same day and the mechanics couldnt find anything wrong. odd

I just remembered, my car makes this noise going around corners all the time, the front end squats when i turn and if i hit a bump through the turn, "BAM!!!!" the siding smacks the ground

my car thumps sometimes just after i take a turn. it seems like if i turn the wheel far enough, like 5 seconds later something under my hood will pop. i can't really tell where exactly it comes from and i haven't really cared enough to figure out what it is... oh well.
