Default Integra GS-R ABS Fluid question....

Hey there, I'm trying to refill the tank for my ABS fluid on a '95 Integra GS-R. I looked in the manual and popped the cap on what it says is the fill point, but it does not have an open hole beneath the cap and just overflows if I try to put fluid down it. Any tips would be wonderful.

On mine, you take off the grey rubber cap, then pull out the plastic plug thing from underneath. That plug has tiny little vent holes, but you can't fill the reservoir with it in place.

Ahhhh, that makes so much more sense, it just kept overflowing until I took out the second thing. Thanks

On a related note, I was hoping this would fix a brake fade problem, but it didn't. When I push down on my brake pedal, unless I really jam on it, it just goes all the way back with little resistance and little braking. I thought it might be the fluid, but I've now topped off both the brake and abs fluids. Could I need new pads?
Thanks

It's pretty easy to just look at your brake pads to see if they're worn down to nothong. Please do that.

But I think it's more likely that you've just got air bubbles in the system. Bleed your brakes.

ps... when your pedal just goes to the floor, that's not called 'fade'. It's just a soft or spongy pedal.

Ok, cool, I will check that out asap. I have to go to work now, so I get another fun day of driving around on freaky brakes. I'll look tomorrow morning, and bleed them as needed.
