obd0 b16 in a 96 EK, few obd questions
I hear the DX wiring harness will plug into the b16 but, of course, I will have to run the VTEC wires. I am planning on getting an OBD 2 - 1 jumper and running an obd 1 p30. My question is, besides the dist., what esle do I need to change to obd 1? Also, will an obd 1 engine engine plug into an obd 2 car? thanks for the help.

Im going to assume your car is already obd-2. Since you will getting a ecu conversion obd-2 to obd-1 harness, then the stock engine bay harness will be fine. you will not have to convert anything else. just plug up the jumper and you should be fine. Not for sure if the dizzy needs to be changed, but i could be wrong. I think the dx dizzy plug should plug up to the ctec dizzy plug if its the same obd.

ah yes, but it is not the same obd. im putting a obd0 first gen b16 in the obd2 civic. so basically i will need an obd1 vtec dizzy if running an obd1 ecu
