Default S2000 Red Line

Can you train the S2000 redline so that it's higher than it should?

yes and no. you can simply rev rev rev until the first limiter kicks in and then the second stage limiter will kick in, but it will still increase to approximately 9300rpms before quitting. however, this isn't really the answer to your question. yes, you CAN rev higher, but the engine internals cannot take it. so... try not to do it at home unless you have an extra 6-8 grand for repairs.

Can the S2k take the abuse from driving it hard like other Honda's Civic Si, ITR and Prelude. I know these 4 bangers can take alot of abuse with no problems at all.

it's like any other car/engine. If you want it to last, don't abuse it. You can abuse anything but it wont last very long. Abuse is defined in driving style and maintainence.

you can still race a car and not abuse it. Abuse is also careless operation. Most race car drivers care about their cars to last, within reason of course.
