I just changed the a/c compressor on a car here, the compressor was locked up, should i change the evaporator aswell? Or will the compressor get fucked up again from metal?

depending on the damage, most of the bigger pieces may have gotten caught inside the expansion valve which might have to be replaced or at least inspected so you could have gotten lucky. I would also consider replacing the receiver/dryer as it may have collected the smaller particles. A thorough job would be to flush the evaporator and condensor but I don't know if they offer that anymore??
