Type R oil pump

will a Type R oil pump work on a b16 and Is a Type R oil pump better then a stock b16 one and also people have told me you can port the oil pump to get better flow is this true??? I need help

the typeR oil pump pumps more... and im sure it will work on a b16. dont quote me on that.
