Default CRX CLUSTER... JDM FIT???

This cluster im checking out is advertised as: JDM 88-91 Civic/CRX 4 GAUGE CLUSTER EF9 EF8 RARE EF EF2. i have a 1990 CRX DX model and the guy selling this cluster is unsure if it fits for a CRX, but the cluster is the 90-91 style. any help would be appreciated. i would just measure my cluster for length and height, but my car is at a shop 4 hours away. so if someone could tell me if this would fit or give me dimensions for the 90-91 CRX cluster, i'd be so happy
thanks guys

the physical fit will work, but if it's a cluster from a ef8/9 you need to rewire most of it, and you have to get an electrical VSS to replace the mechanical one. Not worth it in my opinion.

it will work, but you have to rewire the cluster. make sure you get the JDM plugs too.

ALSO, I believe he is talking about the VSS itself not just the sensor light on the cluster. the guy explains below what he needed to buy and do. it's almost $40 for everything he ordered:

are you buying this one?:

dang...thats a 4-dr civic cluster...NOT WORTH THE WIRING! I rather get the EDM or JDM SiR cluster.

hahah sorry didn't mean to screw you over on the ebay issue.

i noticed it said:

"It will work work PERFECTLY with your speedometer cable" ... which i assume means you don't need the electronic one...

bah what the hell do i know. i hope the information helped in whatever way possible. if not, you can shoot me.

well yeah the cluster that page represented (mind you it's not a friend, i remembered this link from somewhere) was a different year's cluster, but i figured at least the VSS stuff was true.

direct bolt-in eh? hmmm.. maybe i'll have to bid... lol jk

i hope you win it! g'luck, and REP DA BAY!

lol
