? 2 alternators and 2 batteries ?

Default ? 2 alternators and 2 batteries ?

ok this is kind of weird question but does any one know how to hook up two alterantors i am turning my civic into a comp car and will need 2 alternators and maybe to batteries. i plan on reworking the ac bracket for the second one i just need to know how to wire the 2 together? any help would be great got 11 days before the comp!!

If its going to be a competition car 2 alternators to me wouldnt be to great, 2 batteries sure, but 1 alternator would be fine to rework the load.

Because by comp car you mean one note played for one 3 second burp right?

turn the car on for 11 min and both batteries would be totally charged again

Im not huge audio guy but my 135 amp alt I got from alterstart works all my accessories plus my 2 large amps without the lights dimming at all

no i will have 30 seconds to build pressure in the cab and i will have 3 15's in a wall and i dont have the cash to buy a beefed up alternator i need all the juice i can i have like 3 spare alternators so i was just going to add one altogether i will be running 1500 to 2000 watts

all the cars i've seen have only 1 alt, but like 10 batteries. I didnt think you were aloud to keep the car running during the test.

A friend of mine had 4 optima's w/ 4 15's in a wall, 1 alt.

in dbdrag you can't have the vehicle running. that why people have 16-18 volt battery setups. Your best bet is to check out termpro.com and ask around their to setup two alts.
