i have a 94 civic lx and i've been trying to find a way to get vtec in my car for a fairly cheap price. a guy told me that i can replace my non-vtec engine head with a sohc vtec head or a dohc vtec head on my engine block. my question is, is it possible to replace my engine head with a dohc head? or does it need to be a sohc head? if i can do either one of these, is there anything extra i need to do to the engine head in order to get the vtec working? thanks!
