alright ladies and gents...i have quite a problem on my hands. i have a '93 civic lx and have been having problems with it overheating. come to find out, worst has come to worst and the head is warped (not my fault - my dad never bothered to do anything about it, and i for one dont have the money).

anyways, i dont know the engine code for my engine. therefore i cant find out if i can do a mini-me swap. if i have to get a new head, i'd like to put on a v-tec head. is it possible with the lx engine? its an automatic btw. if it is possible - where can i get a head and what else would i need and where can i get that? if not possible - what else do i need besides a new sohc head and a head gasket?

this sucks especially because im in a band and we have been recording...i need to get this done ASAP or else we have no other way out there.

just go to a junkyard and get a d16z6 swap or something, itd be alot easier. itll only cost u like 600 bucks probly.

ive got a d16z6 head ready for a mini-me... + p28. 275 shipped?

z6 throttle body, intake mani, fuel rail, all internals and injectors.

on swapping it out? it shouldnt be all that hard since itll be out of the same year or only one or two years newer probly unless urs is an auto and the swap is a manual.
