Default D series hydro tranny. Mount and axle questions. Don't tell me it's a waste...

Besides the obvious stuff like possible firewall flex, getting the clutch MC hooked up, and the proper pedal assembly....is there anything preventing the install of a D series transmission?

Things like the tranny mount, and if you can reuse the stock axles etc.

I don't want to start a cable vs. hydro war, or have a huge debate...I'd just like to know about these two things. TIA.

if you are changing from cable to hydro or vice verse I would think the axles would be different.

make sure the clutch is aligned.

make sure the input shaft matches the clutch you are using...

all I can think of now, its late.

BTW: you thread is worded poorly so I apologize in advance if I didnt answer your question.

As far as I know, it won't bolt in without custom fabrication of mounts. This is why nobody does it.
