my cuz gave me a mount from his gsr tranny, but i dont know what mount it is or if it will work on my b16 swap thats goin into an ek

 

that mount bolts on to the top of the tranny and to a bracket on the passenger side frame rail, no it will not be used if going into an EK bodied civic, you need a bracket and the mount not just the mount like on the Tegs and EG bodied civics

 

i do believe all b series hydro trans top mounts are the same, so yes it should work

 

im not sure but that looks like a d-series mount from a eg.
looks like the mount that goes on the left side tranny mount for a dseries.

 

no it wont work in your B16swap... you have to use the stock ek mount.. its the passenger side tranny mount... i just did that swap yesterday... you use all the stock EK mounts besides the rear bracket which has to be a 99+ civic SI bracket

Not going into an EK bodied civic, they have the mount that bolts on the framerail and a bracket that attaches to the tranny unlike a teg/del sol/eg bodied civic.

 

oh well, i just went and bought some brackets from honda, if anyones intrested in that mount let me know
