Attn: Tanabe exhaust owners
I recently changed my MTF and while under the car I noticed that my resonator on my Tanabe Hyper medallion (not the new full stainless) was rusted. The thing was that all the pipes were in very good shape except for the resonator.
I was wondering if any other tanabe owners have this same problem.

My resonator has got a little rust on it, but I think it's from scraping it. This is on a Racing Medallion. You can always swap out for a better resonator, since the Tanabe resonators are crap to begin with.
Agreed, was a thread no too long ago showed they were a little bit too restrictive too. And now to hear this news?? I was planning on removing mine for another but don't know which one, or just stick in a straight pipe?

A straight pipe might sound gross. Look into a magnaflow resonator for a better alternative
