I was checking my spark plugs today and to remove the spark plug cover there are four nuts. Well one of the nuts was being a b*tch and I naively forced the nut to come off...BUT in doing so I sheared the whole nut off the bolt! So now the bolt is stuck in the valve cover completely level with it and the nut and spark plug cover are still in tact together!! talked about getting owned!

Is this a bad thing???

Here is a pic of the bolt im talking about...its those four to take off the sprak plug cover..and now its flush with the valve cover!

Not a big deal at all. If you want to replace it, remove the valvecover, remove the stud (10mm if I remember right) and replace. No big deal either way.

 

ya ive snaped 3 or 4 of them, they are like 5$ at honda or acura
