I got a 1998 honda civic DX with a 97 LS Engine. I changed all the IACV wiring from three wires to two wires and I moved pin 14 to pin 12 Now everytime I step on the Gas the car shuts off Should I get an LS Fuel Pump will that work???
ANYONE KNOW I need to know

you're stock fuel pump should work... maybe a clogged fuel filter or more fuel pressure... it's not the fuel pump

 

I just got a new fuel filter and Everytime i step on the gas it shuts off

 

how does it idle?

 

it idels at 1500

 

maybe u switched plugs switched the map and tps sensor switch em and see what happens happened to me one time and everytime i hit the gas it would stall it would start but idle very roughly

 

The car stays on but when I take the map sensor out it shuts off and It wont start again I already tried switching the plugs around it didnt do anything

 

are you using the right injectors? check if your ecu is compatible with your injectors... peak and hold injectors vs. saturated injectors. there's a difference of about 10 ohms. or try another ecu. check wiring... 90% of everyone's problem on honda tech deals with wiring but i guess so does honda's with swaps.

 

Im using the Injectors that came with the engine I think all the wiring if alright but im going to have to double check. But i think its a fuel problem. I step on the Gas and the car just shuts off
