honestly...i felt more comfortable in my civic than i do with my integra.

civic 94
neuspeed race
kyb agx

integra 96
type r suspension
neuspeed race
tokico blues

car felt more rigid on the civic to me..
i still love the integra tho!

my 91 teg only has a upper strut bar and sportlines. and it feels really stiff even with my crappy yokohama avs es100's i hardly ever feel it slipping in tight turns.

You aren't driving fast enough, then.

I believe the Integras generally weigh more but have stiffer setups from the factory.

Having a B18 is nice too.

I have a 98 GSR and it is way stiffer from the factory than any stock civic I've driven. Also the streering is much quicker. It also has more bias towards oversteer then to plow and understeer (Stock).

From my understanding an Integra is just a fancied up Civic, so they should be about the same. Sort of like the differences between the GM F bodies. Camaro and Firebird.

No this is not a joke wise ***.
And they do share the same basic suspension! That's what makes swapping possible. Shut-up and learn. Know it all.

The Integra's chassis is a derivative of the Civic's.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by webster's &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

Main Entry: 2derivative
Function: adjective
1 : formed by derivation
2 : made up of or marked by derived elements
3 : lacking originality : BANAL
- de·riv·a·tive·ly adverb
- de·riv·a·tive·ness noun

</TD></TR></TABLE>
The welded, all-steel body shares the Civic's underbody construction, however, it has a sturdier upper structure. The body is stiffer by 40% in bending and 20% in torsion than the previous Integra's. Each door has crushable, impact-energy-absorbing members in addition to the usual impact-beam bar. The driver- and front-passenger-side SRS air bags are optionally installed on the Japanese Integra.

a civic would own in handling. my old eg si handled way better than my teg will ever handle. my old eg had stock shocks, neuspeed sport springs, gsr rear sway, ebay rear tie bar, neuspeed front tower bar, dc rear strut bar, gsr tranny w/quaife and handled like a charm.

teg has gsr tranny w/kazz, itr rear sway with bsq kit, blisten monotube shocks, h&r sport springs, itr front tower bar, ebay front and rear tie bars, dc rear strut bar and it handles like a pig. it's solid on the turns, but still feels like a pig.

maybe if it lost a little weight it would handle a lot better but i'm not the person to go stripping my car as i use it as a daily commuter. just giving my opinion based on my experiences with both cars.

oh yeah, both had LS motors and turbo'd as well.

My stock 1990 DA handles way better than any civic I have ever driven.

My 92 hatch handled like a champ.
My 92 gsr can handle, but it throws its weight around.
