Default B18C JDM ITR idle problem. PLEASE!! need help

JDM ITR B18C motor. Completely stock in a DC2 Integra. The charcoal canister is gone, but I found a small can that ties into the back of the IM. When you start the car, it idles fine. When you drive down the road and push in the clutch, like to stop, the idle hangs up at 3,000 rpm. When you completely stop, the idle goes back down. Sometimes it idles back to 1500 rpm.

There is also a fuel cell in the trunk with an external fuel pump. There is a vent in the top of the tank that ties to a hard line and comes to the front of the car. I've left it open, and even tied it to the charcoal canister, but no difference.

There is an open line on top of the throttle body that does'nt seem to make a difference whether it's open or capped.

I've been trying to resolve this problem for three weeks now. Nobody around here seems to have a clue. If someone has any ideas, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Ok, first of all, you need to check all vacum lines on the IM and the TB, you don't have any open lines anywhere. Use caps if necessary.
After verify this point, you should check the idle valve behind the TB, it's a pure mechanical valve, it open and close a vlave with the cooland temp. Sometimes, you just have to re-screw the valve inside, it's very easy.
This valve open and close the little hole in the TB for the idle.

If it doesn't work, look at the TB plate, if there is some oil and chez the close of this plate, it's the reason i have put an oil catch can, my idle was instable when i droped off the gaz pedal.
Clean it with brake cleaner on a paper because if you put too much brake cleaner in the engine, i could be not start.

Check your timing and do a ECU reset.
Good luck

Sorry for my poor English.

Sweet. I'll check that. I remember taking a couple sensors off of the TB because I've got an Ericks Racing 68mm I was going to use. Ended up using the stock TB. Maybe they are'nt back on right. Thanks for the help. I'll repost after I check that and let ya know how it goes.

Okay that seemed to help a little. I've got a P28 and jumper harness. I'll try that later too.

If you use a P28, you won't have VTEC, since the VTEC pressure switch is built into the JDM ECU. You would have to use a USDM VTEC solenoid w/ a P28 or other USDM ECU.
