7000rpm/5th gear
hey i was wondering if anyone still have the site where you match up the rpm with the gear your in and it tells you the mph because i was driving home the other night with my friend and my mph was all the way down and i was wondering if i can find out how fast was i going....thanks
If you want to do a high speed calculation, you have take the maximum RPM of the the car and divide it in half, for example:
you have a crx si that red lines a 7000 RPMS,
7000 divided by 2 is 3500 RPMS
if the Crx Si does 65 MPH at 3500 RPMS, you take 65 MPH and times it by 2
which is 130 MPH. that is a rough calculation but it is pretty damn close.
